According to his website, David Belt "is a real estate developer & the Founder & Managing Principal of both DBI & Macro Sea. Over the past 20 years, Mr. Belt has developed a diverse range of projects that vary widely in size, scope, & location, & has become a leader in creative real estate development & place making.  In the past 10 years, Mr. Belt has executed over $1 billion worth of private & institutional development projects in NY, Philadelphia, Princeton, Rome, Paris, Salamanca & Dublin. As a developer at risk with Macro Sea, Mr. Belt has partnered with a number of businesses, organizations, & individuals to generate financial, strategic, & social value. His strong sense for innovation in asset repositioning & partnerships includes the redevelopment of a 40-acre, 160,000 sf Church-owned seminary in Princeton, NJ into a mixed-use development. The project preserves the natural open space & architecture, while leveraging the property to generate long-term revenue. He led the way in a full rezoning of the site to create value for the partnership, & has also laid the groundwork to develop a cemetery by working with city agencies & partnering with a cemetery operator. Currently, he is working on developing New Lab, which will be an interdisciplinary high-tech design prototype & fabrication space in a 84,000 sf shipbuilding facility in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. He is also building Global Campuses for a prominent study abroad organization."
