This discussion will lead us through requirements for concrete mix designs, hot & cold weather concreting, ACI slab design, and floor tolerances. In addition, a case study will be presented that features the recent Library Lane Underground Parking Facility Project located in downtown Ann Arbor, MI. This project utilized more than 55,000 yards of high performance, low shrinkage concrete to construct the facility.
This seminar will also advise you of the latest cutting edge technologies in the concrete industry including ways to achieve durable concrete, synthetic structural fibers for concrete, curing and sealing compound updates and ways to ensure good concrete construction from the beginning. All attendees will receive valuable take-home reference materials relating to the seminar presentation.
