About this Course
Engineered wood products are structural wood products manufactured by bonding together wood strands, veneers, lumber or other forms of wood fiber to produce a larger and integral composite unit with superior performance characteristics. These high performance building components achieve predictable and reliable performance characteristics with the efficient use of natural resources. This course explains the information shown in the APA trademark and how it relates to floor, wall, and roof construction. This course also explains APA Performance Rated Panels, span ratings, exposure durability, grades and specialty panel definitions.

APA Rated Sheathing: Become familiar with the applications, classifications, and grades of APA Rated Sheathing.
