Presentation Overview:

The Science of Light:  Optimizing Design, Functionality, and Wellness

  • Light is part of our daily lives and it plays a central fole in the design of a visual environment.  In this course you'll explore how lighting impacts health and well-being as well as tools to help ensure your lighting plan illuminates your design. 

The Art of Blending Design with Technology:  Creative Ways to Integrate Technology into Modern Decor

  • This presentation will introduce architects to custom audio and visual solutions that can be seamlessly incorporated into residential and commercial spaces.

  • Learning Objectives

  1. Understand the basic evolution of audio and video technologies
  1. Explain the current state of technology in audio devices

  2. Recognize the importance of collaborating with CEDIA professionals and integrating technology early in the design process.

  3. Consider the aesthetic and performance options available when specifying AV technology.

  4. List solutions to common challenges of integrating technology into a space.
